Nitesh Tripathi completed his graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication from Amity University Madhya Pradesh where he was a Gold Medallist. His Post Graduation was in Media Research from Makhanlal Chaturvedi University. Presently he is pursuing Ph.D. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Banaras Hindu University and the title of his thesis is ‘Effects of Smartphone Use on Attention Span of Screenagers: A Study on Communication Intervention’. He had a brief stint at Vasanta College for Women in Varanasi as Guest Faculty. He has three research papers in peer reviewed journals and also five book chapters. His areas of interest include Communication Research, Media Psychology and New Media. He qualified UGC-NET three times and got JRF in July 2018. He has been a topper in Ph.D. Entrance Exams of HNB Garhwal and CUCET and overall topper in post-graduation and graduation as well.
