Malay Dasgupta is currently the Head of the Department of Calcutta Media Institute. He is an independent documentary filmmaker and media consultant. He has more than 20 years of experience in film and television. Malay has worked as a Senior Producer in television channels like ETV and Kolkata TV. He has produced and directed several documentaries and a number of television shorts, which were screened in different film festivals in India and abroad.
