Noveena Chakravorty is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication under the School of Media and Communication at Adamas University in Kolkata. She has an experience of more than 18 years in the media academics and industry. She completed her Bachelor’s degree B.Com (Hons) and Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication with a specialization in Radio, Television, and Films from Banaras Hindu University. She has completed a Film Appreciation Course from the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and a Film Making course from the Indian Film Institute, Delhi. She is pursuing her PhD. in Film Studies from Adamas University. Ms. Noveena started her career in Star News as Trainee Journalist later on Associate Professor in Jagran Institute of Management Mass Communication, Noida (Delhi NCR), an initiative by Dainik Jagran Prakashan Limited. She presented research papers in nation and international conferences.
